A Question of Guilt

We want justice for the guilty

The innocent to go free

We want justice for corruption

The innocent to go free

We want justice for victims

The innocent to go free

We want justice for the downtrodden

The innocent to go free

We want justice for murderers

The innocent to go free

We want justice for sinners

The innocent to go free

We want Justice?

Justice?

Just as our Lord did

We the guilty go free.

  1. Primo turn at the end, a readerly reward, like a balloon being pin-pricked at the end of a Shakespearean sonnet.
